Deal Highlight | $8.5M Group Facility Restructure

WJ Capital Partners is pleased to have successfully advised on and settled an $8.5M group facility restructure, including c.$2.5m of new financing for land intended for future owner-occupied use.

This transaction involved a formal bank tender process, with the mandate focused on improving the client’s overall banking position through stronger pricing and flexible security arrangements.

Key highlights included:

  • Significantly improved interest rate margin across all facilities
  • Existing major bank relationship maintained
  • Existing property equity utilised for acquisition of land
  • Minimal additional cash contribution required
  • No Director Guarantees (non-recourse structure)

This was a strong example of the value of strategic lender engagement and disciplined deal structuring, particularly where the transactions involved multiple facilities, and competitive tension.
